Medical Training Continues, Week 2

Dr Parker teaching students respiratory diseases and Timothy translating. She reviewed how to use a stethoscope in order to auscultate the lungs.

With our up-to-date technology the students heard normal and abnormal breath sounds. The diagnosis and treatment of upper respiratory problems and pneumonia was discussed.

Dr. Susan Parker is a family medicine physician from Toronto, Canada.  This year the school enjoys having a 43 inch HDTV screen to watch demos and video clips.

Here the students are listening to breathing sounds to help them with their clinical skills.

Making and letting the students (and instructors, including Dr. Jove Graham) laugh keeps the classroom alive and facilitates learning :)

More testing (by Dr. Bruce Gross).

Thank you for your prayers for the barefoot doctors and instructors.
