We are very excited to have our students back at the Kalnin Learning Center!
They arrived on Saturday, January 11th, happy to continue their preparation as Barefoot Doctors.
They got settled back into their rooms in the Jones building then had time together for prayer.
On Sunday morning they gathered with their Bible teachers and the FLC staff for a worship time in the Ferraro building. Their pictures are extra colorful because everyone wore their tribal dress/costumes for the service. Enjoy the photos!
All of this week they will be in Bible classes taught by Simon Percy and Rich Petersen. We are so grateful for these pastors who came to share the Word of God with our students. We will tell you more about these classes as the week progresses.
Please be in urgent prayer for one of our students who has not yet returned to the school. Maung Kyawt Thar actually disappeared in Burma about one month ago while he was doing medical work and sharing the gospel. His family has not heard from him for 5 weeks now, and there is concern that he was abducted by a rebel army fighting in the area where he was working.
Thanks for your prayers, both for Kyawt Thar and for the rest of our students and instructors.
Everything at the school is leading up to graduation on February 28th. If you wish to help with the funding of the school and/or medical supplies to send home with the graduates in March, please see the donation link on the sidebar.
