The Barefoot Doctors are the medical extension of Frontier Labourers for Christ into Myanmar and Thailand. They receive medical and ministry training over a period of three years before being certified to service the medical and spiritual needs of the people in their area. Most of them serve the village people of Myanmar/Burma where there are few medical options available.
Barefoot Doctors Head Home!
The trip home has begun. It's a 5 or 6 hour drive to Mae Sai where the students will cross the border back into Myanmar. From there, they will go many directions to get back to their families and their various ministries.
